She was an actual person, Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, a well-known courtesan in 18th century France and the famous mistress of King Louis XV. One of my most ambitious costumes yet. I made it by myself and with no partern. My only regret - that I couldn't iron it because the iron in the hotel room was broken! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
