Sakura - Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles
Ch. 125 Artwork - Tokyo Revelations Promo [link] Photographer:  This was my dream cosplay for awhile now. The picture was my desktop for the longest time. One day I just decided to go ahead with it. The dress has 8 layers on the skirt, plus tulle and chiffon to add body. I made suspenders for the skirt since it was too heavy to be supported by the elastic waist band. There is a hoop skirt underneath. All the bottom layers and the shirt have a lining. The headdress/veil is three layers. All the patterns are hand painted. The trim is spraypainted then handpainted gold. I gathered stitched it then stitched it to the ends. All the layers are serged on the ends to prevent fraying. I don't use patterns. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
