Actually most of the time I prefer reading the manga because I am far from being a TV person and I prefer reading anyway. Mostly I prefer reading the manga because I often get tired of watching the anime and just stop following it, so I end up never finishing it.
But for some reason there are some series that I really like the anime better and actually can watch it until the end. Like Ouran for exemple, I watch the entire anime more than once and I never get tired of it, but this really is the only one I watched more than once. XD
what does it for me is when the anime has to change the story becasue it caught up with the manga. I hate it when I happens. But you don't know that unless you're reading the manga.
Devious Comments
my collection now only holds the best anime and manga, without any regards to what's popular or hated.

I know in some situations, the manga is better than the anime, and vice versa.
I own a LOT more manga than I do anime. XD
